AIOU M.Sc Statistics Admission Autumn 2019
Allama IQbal Open University, Islamabad offers Master degree Program in Statistics in Autumn 2019.
Aims and Objectives: The main objectives of MSc Statistics programme are:

Eligibility for Admission: Candidates having BA/BSc degree with at least 2nd division or 45% marks from any HEC recognized institute/ university along with statistics as a major subject. However, the student having graduate degree without statistics may apply in zero semester of MSc Statistics detail given down below.
Degree Requirement: For the award of MSc Statistics degree, the student will have to qualify the 20 courses within a minimum period of four semesters. However, zero semester students will complete his/her MSc Statistics Degree within a minimum period of five semester with qualifying the 26 courses each of 3 credit hours.
Hostel and Cafeteria Facilities: These facilities are available for the students of AIOU only. Separate fee has to be paid subject to the availability of food and space in Hostel.
Medium of Instruction: Medium of instruction and examination is preferably English but Urdu is also acceptable.
Merit Criteria: After scrutinize the eligible candidates, the department will call the eligible applicants for interview. The Departmental Admission Committee will recommend the suitable candidates on merit basis.
Payment of fee: Only the selected recommended candidates will be asked to deposit the required fee through provisional offer letter of admission from the Admission Department, AIOU, Islamabad.

AIOU Assignment Submission Schedule (Spring 2019)
Allama Iqbal Open University, Islambad (AIOU) issued a time-schedule for submission of the academic assignments for its Matric to Ph.D programs.
According to the schedule, the last date for submission of first assignment for the full-credit courses is June 10 for Matric, FA, and BA programs. Whereas, the last date for the 2nd assignment for these courses is July 10.
Students of these academic programs will be required to submit their 3rd and fourth assignment by August 08 and 05 September respectively.
Accordingly, for half-credit courses of these programs, first and 2nd assignments are to be submitted on July 10 and September 05 respectively.
For B.Ed (New), ADE programs and Postgraduate programs, students are required to submit their first and second assignment on August 08 and September 05 respectively.
